Full-time position, 35 hours/week

Job description

CFBS radio is looking for a responsible advertising representative to sell airtime for running radio advertisements and do promotions and updates through different social media networks.
This position will require the candidate to plan and support the station's fundraising activities, conduct local interviews, produce ads and local announcements, and perform other duties as required by the station manager. Training will be provided and ongoing as necessary.

Job task

Oversee advertising contracts, including follow-up and pricing
Oversee fundraising activities.
Regular production of advertising and local announcements
Responsible for website updates.
Contribute to weekly bingo at the station.
Researching and conducting local interviews
Keep open communication with CFBS team members.

Responsibilities

Must work effectively as a team member with a broad range of duties and work without direct supervision.
Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate their thoughts and ideas to others. This includes being able to listen to others, as well as being able to express oneself clearly.
Manage and organize emails, using email etiquette, to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and the listening audience.

Qualifications

Be creative
Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
Recruit advertisers (phone calls, emailing, or in-person visits with possible advertisers.)
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft, Outlook for emails, etc.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma
Ability to work in both French & English would be an asset
Ability to work independently or in a team environment

The candidate must hold a High School Diploma
Must be 35 years old or under by May 1st, 2025

Salary will be based on qualifications and experience
