LOCAL NEWS - JULY 30, 2020 - Quebec Government to Assist LNS Representatives in Request to Have Access to Newfoundland File
An interview update from the Warden of the MRC du Golfe-du-Saint-Laurent, and the Mayor of the Municipality of Blanc-Sablon, Wanda Beaudoin, regarding:
Update on the status of the proposal request letter sent by Warden Randy Jones of the MRC du Golfe-du-Saint-Laurent to the office of Dr. Janice Fitzgerald, Chief Medical Officer of Health for Newfoundland and Labrador, to have the Lower North Shore granted less restrictive access to Newfoundland island. Officials of the Government of Quebec have now taken over the file.
